Where is this measurement taken? From the rocker extensions to the ground?

Re: Ride height measurement

There are many ways to measure ride height. there is no one standards to measuring height in less there are rules set on height in witch case a standard would be formed and messering points would be addressed and used constantly. messering from the ground to roof is very inaccurate and would only sever a general estimation on hight. a good rule of thumb for the street is you'll want to use 4 or more points to a vehicle to be the most accurate as possible. So if you planed on changing a vehicles ride hight get a base setting first using your points you picked so when you do change it you can go back to those points and see the changes made

Re: Ride height measurement

Inconsistancies in build makes exact measurements hard to get at any point. I think the most consistant/ correct is from the bump stop mount to bumpstop contact point. But, the one I've seen the most is the lower lip of the fender well (either front fender or rear quater panel).

Re: Ride height measurement

I really like using the fender and quarter lips to the center of the wheel hubs. i find this is the most accurate way of measuring you have very few variables. Think about this from a logic standpoint your taking the tires, rims and air pressure out of the equation
