ride height
i was wondering what the ride height for an '85 camaro is supposed to be?
bcause i have about 5" tire to wheel well in the rear and only about 2-3" in the front just wondered if that is normal
I have also heard that the pan hard rod is supposed to be level with axle and mine is not. panhard rod is not stock but is the same length as stock also made it fully adjustable on the car any info would be great

Re: ride height
as far as the panhard rod goes i was pretty sure that it didn't affect ride height but was used to center the axle in the car but i was just making sure that was right.

Re: ride height
And the shocks. Many (including me) have reported a slight increase in ride height after installing rear KONIs.

Re: ride height
very true and i have never seen a camaro with this problem. for example my sisters '92 RS has even gap at the wheel wells and the only thing that i can think of is that mine is a z/28 and hers is an RS and they had different ride height / springs

Re: ride height
Mine was already on ProKit on some destroyed Monroes. The KONIs lifted it something .75". It's settled since then. 3" is really off.

Re: ride height
yeah from what all you guys have said 3" is way off and just to make sure i measured the rear right so i remeasured it today when i was at the shop and its 5" tire to wheelwell. as far as the front springs are concerned i have never removed them but i did remove the rears when i installed the 12 bolt
i guess i will have to tear it apart and see what i can find
