Can Koni yellows be used with a non lowered vehicle using stock spring and does anyone know if one of the aftermarket companies sells factory height springs that may ride better than stockers, any help would be greatly appreciated !!!

Re: Koni
Koni's can be used with stock springs. Do a search on Moog stock replacement springs. I would't spend the money on Koni dampers unless you're going to seriously auto-x or road race the car. If its just a street car then there are far more economical yet reliable choices out there like Bilstein.

Re: Koni
I plan to DD my car and hit up the autocross/drifting events (I know I have an auto, but a full manual valve body and 100% lockup converter will help) on the weekends so I plan to pick up the Koni yellows.
But if your just DD and not doing much corner carving or in need of adjustability you dont need the Koni's in which case the Bilstein HD's would be best. Also I hear a lot of good things about them. Match them with replacement Moog springs and the car WILL feel a lot better.

I have the Koni SA's on my car. I use it as a daily driver (only about 3,000 miles a year), but I also do a ton of autocrossing.

Re: Koni
Aren't the HD Bilsteins about the same money as the KONIs? Only without the adjustability or the lifetime warranty...
I have KONIs on my car, and it's my DD. I drive about 17,800 miles a year average (89k miles over 5 years...). They can be a little stiff on poor condition secondary roads or rough transitions on bridges, but I wouldn't trade them for handling or highway ride.

Re: Koni
From www.SHOX.com
Koni- $686.40
Bilstein HD- $679
So yeah, you might as well get the Koni Sports, maybe even the Koni Reds for a little cheaper.

Re: Koni
lolz. I think I'll splurg the extra $4. for the lifetime warranty. And $3.40 for the adjustability.

Re: Koni
The front springs from the Eibach Pro-kit were actually a little soft for my liking. The rears are ok but the front of my car still dives too much when I slam on the brakes and there is still a little too much front body roll. Maybe it is just me and/or how I drive my car...

Re: Koni
I don't think the fronts are too soft. But it might come down to driver's preference and the fact I don't auto-x near as much as you do. But, I do have a glass hood, so the weight on my nose might be less. If you turn up your rear shocks, it'll increase rear rebound and should reduce front nose drop. But, it'll affect how your rear corners. You could always get some of the ~700 lbs Moogs and cut enough off to get the drop you want and up the spring rate to something more desirable. Then there's just getting some springs in the height and spring rate you want...lol
Re: Koni
i agree the eibachs frornts are way too soft for the rear rates, i think that #800 front would be way better, my front has roll but the rear doesn't with the 36/ 24 mm sway bars
