Front Suspension

I wanna do a little bit of work on my stock front suspension. What would you guys recommend?

I'm not trying to go crazy, just a couple small things for a smoother ride.

Re: Front Suspension

Is there a problem now? ie. anything broken or misadjusted?
Check and see if your shocks are worn out, replacing them can make a world of difference.
Poly sway bar bushings are a great cheap upgrade.

Nah it just rides rough, and it gets shaky when I get up to speed. I wanted to do sway bar bushings, shocks, and ball joints.

Will that be good?

Re: Front Suspension

Yea, check tie rods while you're there.
Replace the wheel bearings too.

That should do the trick. Get it aligned after you're done and see if it's better.

Alright I'm going to do that today. It's gonna make a difference regardless right?

Re: Front Suspension

My car handled rough and shakey, so what i did is I got a steering rebuild kit from Hawksthirdgenparts.com, Bilstein struts and shocks, my lower controls arsm were bent so i got tubular ones from BMR (available through hawksthirdgen) and I got Poly urethane sway bar bushings and sway bar endlinks, and may i add my car was already equiped with the biggest swaybar available which is 36mm from factory. Note*** swaybar bushings for a 36mm are not available through autozone, kragen, oriley, csk, or the dealership because its discontinued. I got mine from Hawksthirdgen but I found out that you can get them from Napa Auto Parts. Its still a rough ride but only on rough streets, the car handles like a rollercoaster now its an amazing differance, and it got even better once I changed my tires to BFgoodrich g-Force(s).

some other things you can do to inprove is get a tubular panhard bar, rear tubular or boxed controls arms, lowering springs, and Sub-Frame connecting rods.

Note** tubular lower front control arms come with poly urethane bushings and heavy duty ball joints
hope this helpped you.

peace out and good luck.
