quick question about removing lower control arm

quick question about removing lower control arm
do i jack the rear up so that the axle is released from pressure by jacking it up by the body or do i jack it up and support the rear axle with jack stands. let me know thanks. my instructions for my subframe connectors says one thing and my chilton book says another.

This is how I did it and it worked beautifully. Jack up the rear and place two jackstands on the axles lol easy as that.

Are you trying to install LCAs os SFCs. If you are trying to replace the LCAs, I reccomend placing the jack in the center of the rear end and stands where the LCAs attach to the body. Makes getting the bolt holes realligned alot easier if you have some control over the position of the rear end.
