Question for BMR sales
I purchased a K-member, tubular A-arms and a coil over conversion kit for my 83 camaro race car back a few years ago. I would like to change the springs on the front to a lighter spring rate. The car weights about 2800 and is very stiff in the front with the adjusters all the way down. Who makes a lighter spring that will work with this conversion kit. I have posted a pic of the car at ride height. I would like to be able lower the front end down a little one day.

Re: Question for BMR sales
they whould be just 2.5" ID coilover springs. Measure the free length of what you have and order a shorter spring, or a lighter rate spring to lower the car

Re: Question for BMR sales
What spring did you decide to go with? (ht/wt)
I am interested in your before and after results (adjustability/ etc) as I am having the same type situation, but haven't been able to touch it do to holidays, work, family, weather.
Thanks
Matt

Re: Question for BMR sales
The reason I ask about the BMR coil over conversion is because they use a Hyper coil 200pound 3” ID spring that is 10” long. With my car they were at the bottom of the adjuster. The only spring I found that mite work is a Eibach 150 pound spring of the same size. I ordered a pair from summit last week and I’m waiting on them now.

Ok I got the car back off of the jack stands today and it looks like the 150 pound springs are going to work. I ran the adjuster up about 1.5 inches to get my ride height back to where it was. Here is a picture of the strut with the springs sitting on the ground
