Which in your opinion is the better replacement K-member?

Just in case it would make a difference, it will be for a 1987 Camaro with a tall deck BBC.

I'd go with BMR, simply because you can currently get it at Hawks at 25% off. I ordered one...
I have bought from BMR before, they seem to make good stuff.

Thanks for the recommendations. We feel that our k member is the strongest on the market and will drop 30lbs off the front of your car. Give Hawks a call. If you have any questions about this or any of our BMR products just give me a call.

I would assume you are adding a front and midplate? If not, I would reccomend one.

Yes, it will have a front and mid engine plate along with engine locators.

Hey 1BADRZ28--
We will be doing a k-member & standard deck Bigblock swap hopefuly before next fall.
Daily driver, mild motor, SFCs.

Would we also need a motor plate? I dont think we'd have much, MAYBE 375 flywheel HP.

I wouldn't get one. Exhaust will be your enemy though. I'd look into shorty headers from Sanderson or exhaust manifolds for that power output. I only reccomended a plate because with tall deck I know he would be building something serious and those open up a lot of options for engine postion, accessory mounting, headers etc.....
