Doing a suspension upgrade in a few weeks...

So I'm sick of having cars that are great in a straight line, but horrible in the corners. So I've decided to spend some cash on suspension upgrades. Here's what I have coming in:

Front and rear sway bars with poly bushings (spohn)
Kyb gr2 struts/shocks
Rear control arms
Panhard bar
Wonder bar
Subframe connectors that will be welded in.

I will also check to see if there is any play in the tie rods and ball joints and replace if needed. I know the KYB's aren't great, but I'm not doing autox, just want an aggressive street/strip setup. What else should I check whilest I'm down there? And does anyone have a good recommendation for alignment? Something that has a good balance of wear and performance. I'm hoping this should make a big difference in the feel of the car.

Yes indeed, and my tires suck! They are gatorbacks lol and one has a leak. I plan on getting all new tires around the time I install the parts so I should be good to go there.

Hello
I noticed you are going to be looking into doing a suspension upgrade! And if you are looking for better performance and handling. I just wanted to suggest to you that UMI Performance has a variety of suspension parts that may meet your needs. I would suggest adjustable components so you don't have to worry about any binding issues what so ever. And they will allow the rear to articulate as well as long as they are properly greased and hold up very well no matter what you throw at them. And a set of SFC's to allow the vehicle to transfer weight and eliminate any body damage. Below is a link to show you what all UMI Performance has to offer for your particular vehicle.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
Thanks
Brad

alright here is wat i did. 91 ws6 car. in running the stock springs in all four corners. original front struts. cheepo stock replacement rear shocks. spohn tublar and adjustable torq arm, lower control arms, and panhard bar. stock front and rear swaybars with poly bushing kit for the rear (whent to a 9" had to get the longer links) and UMI subframe connectors. now i did all of this for straight line traction and it worked however the subframe connectors and rear suspenion helped this thing so much in the corners. i could only amagain wat would happen if i dropped it an inch and went to a 275 tire.

oh and i used UMI sfc because they were boxed. more frame like just my

Here's a question for ya, can you run an Eibach Pro kit with non-adjustable panhard bar and control arms?

You will need an ADJUSTABLE PANHARD BAR. The control arms are no problem.

Ah ok. Would it be worth it to replace the stock springs while I'm in there (with stock springs)? I don't really want to lower because of ride quality, and I don't think there are any performance springs that don't lower. I'm not sure if the old ones are sagging. I can fit 3 fingers between my 235/55/16 tires and the fender.

Hey Im planning on upgrading my suspension too. How much is your setup gunna cost? Im looking at summit part EDL-52063 $1,099.00. It comes with quite a bit. Plus Im getting SFC's weld on for about another $200, a strut tower bar for $110.00 and new shocks/struts which I havent looked into too much yet so Im not sure of the price.
