Question about installing Racecraft drop spindles

I am trying to install my Racecraft drop spindles and ran into a problem...

Racecraft supplies 4 aluminum spacers to use where the strut bolts onto the spindle, but I noticed while putting the bolt through the strut, spindle, and spacers, that there is still a gap between the strut and the spindle/spacers which allows the strut to move as if I need larger spacers, or washers to take up the slack.

Has anybody else run into this? I am using Koni Sport struts (Yellows).

If I torque the bolts down, do you think the gap will close up?

Re: Question about installing Racecraft drop spindles

not running them but i will tell u that that gap will close right up when u hit them with an air wrench. i just changed out a bent spindal on my bird and im running KYB AGXs and they had a gap when i first installed them. that bracket is suppose to squeeze around the spindal. just hit it with an air wrench and forget about it.

Re: Question about installing Racecraft drop spindles

Thanks! I just hit it with my impact gun and the gap closed up! I just didn't remember seeing the gap with my belltech spindles, so I thought I'd ask.
