Sphons relocation brackets (trailing arm)

I installed them on my car last night, nothing! My car did not hook up any better. What gives? I guess I just need some slicks and a shorter torque arm, that would help me hook up.

Anyway, morle of my post, don't waste your $60. I did not pay a penny for my kit, so I am happy... Just 2 hours of welding and installing the kit, for nothing. Maybe if you have everything done, it helps, but I think it is just one of those "every little bit counts."

That is for the LCA's... I have the web site address...

Anyway, their adjustable torque arm looks great. Has anyone installed it? Does it work? 1/4 mile times before and after????

So it solved a problem you didn't have or didn't solve the problem at all? Have you confirmed this at the track yet? It might be premature to put it down if you are only going by "seat of the pants" testing. Also as you said every little bit helps. Correcting a geometry problem can only do so much. If you are strongly overpowering the rear tires, of course it will still break loose.

Well, I have good tires, their are just not slicks. The tires are new radials, with tons of life left on them. It never said "you need slicks to get traction with the LCA relocation kit" it said "it will push your tires into the ground." Had I know that you needed slicks for them to work, I would have saved the $ to put towards slicks. I know guys that run radials and pull 1.90 60' times, what gives? I know how to race, but Ii just break loose no matter what. Bottom line is, I am getting slicks, shorter racing tourqe arm and then I will get that traction (and the kit will then come into play). I am not downgrading SPOHN PERFORMANCE at all, I think his stuff is the best, by far.... I just thougt I would see better traction with them.

Do you have wheel hop or you just smoke um? I have a lot of wheel hop since I put in my T-56 and I think the relocation brackets help this.
