i need grip. cheap
i went to the track lastnight(orlando speed world), first run good, got on it and went 15.4, good run for being warmer the wed.
the next 3 were bad 2- 16's and a 18.8 .
no matter what i did, i could not hook up!!!
tires down to like 19psi,25,38 psi, still could not get grip.
WHAT CAN I DO!!! i need cheap grip that will not kill my tires
thanks,
RS

Get new boxed lower control arms for the rear. Disconnect the front sway bar. Drill a hole in the bottom of an old pair of rear shocks, let the oil drain out, and put them on at the track. All of this will increase weight transfer and be a guaranteed way to reduce 60 foot times.

if you are running street tires, not slicks,do not lower tire pressure that can have a negative affect, you may want to actually raise it

A tubular torque arm really hooks one up, but if you buy one, they're not cheap. I have seen guys weld .750dia X .125wall thickness tubing in the indentions of the stock torque arm with good success, they are kinda heavy when you do this, but it is cheap.
