Lowering car, would my tires rub??
The tires on my car are 245/50/16's. I just wondered if i would have any problems with them rubbing on the wheel wells or anything if i were to lower my car 1.5" or so with new springs. Im sure someone knows??

Summit racing has the Intrax for $189.95. I've heard the Eibach springs are better. Remember you should use a high quality shock with the lowering springs. OEM shocks have trouble compensating for the reduced travel.
All the websites warn about excessive lowering. Jeff can probably give you some real world experience with his car. Would you want 2" drop springs for a daily driver? etc...

The Tech board on this site tells how to replace springs.
Hope this helps,

For the first two weeks or so I loved the springs, but after that they settled a little lower. Since it is my daily driver I wish it was about 1" higher. It only scrapes if you pull into a steep driveway and dont take it at an angle. Kind of takes some getting used to. You will also need to trim the front bump stops a bit.
