Shock/Strut Replacement - Age/Mileage
Reading the archives (3rd Gen's version of the boneyard
) I'm still undecided if I should/need to replace my shocks/struts.
Originals are still bolted on to my 48K ride.
Does age become a factor by now ???
Opinons appreciated

You could test your shocks yourself... unbolt the bottoms from the rear axle, and try to compress the shocks by pushing the bottoms up. If you can do it easily, the shocks are shot, and chances are that the struts are in the same condition.
