So far all I've done was I took off the front sway bar and relocated the battery, dump the smog pump and air compressor(didn't work anyway)and borrowed the rims and tires off my brothers grand national(275 50's BF radials not drag radials)and I feel a hellacious difference. I feel the front rising a hell lot more and I can tell my tires diggen in. I'm going to put my wore out shocks back on the front hollow out the bumpers and try some v6 springs.
I cann't wait to go the track and see my 60' times. With a pair of drag radials and these last few mods I may be able to stall her about 2600 and come close to a dead hook!
well I doubt it the 383tpi is mighty torquey but I cann't wait to see!

no offence but i dont see how n e one could possibly do that to n e worth while thirdgen. Putting warn out shocks on?!?!? V6 front springs??? NO SWAY BAR?????!!!! No **** ur front end will rise more. That is really not worth a few tenths on a 60 ft time

well to be honest i never took n e one of my cars to the track nor will i ever. But i guess thats what seperates ur car from mine. also mines worth a little more than 4 grand

 

yes.....I guess it just depends on where you stand. I usually just use mine to cruise and street race on the weekend. I the extra cash I win on the weekend with it is always a plus. Like I said I just got 4 grand in it and it's already paid for it's self. Kinda comes in handy for college. If ya cann't run it why have it.
