I believe most IROCs came with the 34mm solid and wonderbar where WS6 cars came with 36mm hollow.

is that to say that all ws6 had the 36mm hollow sway bar? i know where there is an '87 ws6 formula and may get the bar if so. How can you tell the difference?? A caliper/big a$$ wrench? Are they that much lighter??? thhnx

In my civil engineering class we learned that a bar being hollow or solid has little effect on how much it can twist. As long as the hollow bar has a good wall thickness to it, it doesn't have to be solid.

Interesting stuff, Taz! I always thought that solid was best. Hehe, now all we need is someone to cut their bar in half so we can get the wall thickness. Any takers? I'd cut mine in half, but.. uh... I don't have a saw.
