I'm thinking of installing an 8 point cage, I would like some ideas on brands? also if I run a cage should I still run sub. frame connectors?

s&w racing.. and yes you should still use SFC's..i am doing the same thing.. the cage from S&W is only 149.99

Better yet, figure out a way to tie the cage and the SFC together. Since most SFC's follow a path just inside the rocker panel, they pass right under the hard (attachment) points of the cage. In most cases, it would be relatively easy to run U bolts around the SFC, up through the floor and through the 6"x6" mounting plate of the cage. Install a spacer or shim between the SFC and the floor, tighten the U bolts which would sandwhich the whole package together and wha la, the system becomes a very ridged truss.
