Bad problem with front drivers side tire :(

ok guys, here is what happened

i was cut off in the rain, jam brakes frocing me to skid, hit a curb with about 20MPH and the car jumps up on to it. the rim broke (missing a chunk) and the tire blew out....got new rims and 2 new tires. the stering wheel ists croked and the car kinda pulls slightly when breaking....

i took the car to sears to have front end alighnment...he said every tie rod/baljoint is in great shape BUT he wont alighn the car because it seems the driver side front tire is pushed back about an inch.. i noticed one bolt between the back of the front tire and the frame (on the door side of the tire) it goes strait up into the subframe it looks liek th ebolt walked (or when the bolt holds had moved about a 1/2 inch) now i think that could be my problem....what else could it be??? bent the a-arm?(front LCA)

all ideas welcomed....

thanks

I could guess it's the control arm or control arm mount or subframe. But the only way to find out what the problem is, is by taking it to a reputable body shop that has a frame machine. Or, you could just replace the control arm and strut(could have some internal damage) and see if that fixes it. Control arms are cheap from a junkyard.
