Big horsepower in a T-Top car, and other ???'s -- URGENT

I'm not sure where this kind of post should go, I just stuck it here. I found a 91 Z with T-Tops for $2500. I am thinking about getting it for my project car, but I am not sure. I will be putting a Super-rammed 406 in it, but I am a bit leary about the T-Tops. What are the chances of them leaking (car has 170000 miles!). I am going to guess theres a pretty good chance. Will a set of subframe connectors (Spohn) make the car as stiff as a hardtop car? The guy said it has a few burnt wires in the engine compartment, but I am not sure which ones they are, or how it was caused (I'll find that out today). How much does a painless wiring harnesss cost, and will it be "Painless"? Thanks guys

My car is a T-top

SFC and a roll bar stiffen it up enough.

I am sure they leak. now the owner may not know if they do because the water likes to collect in the gutter just in side the car. it usually just needs to have the seals removed and reinstalled with some sealer.
