Gear swap in a 9-bolt

I've got a 9-bolt rear from an '86 trans-am. Can I swap out the 2.77 ratio for 3.7 gears, or will I need a larger carrier? Also, does anyone have any gm part #'s for the the gear kits along with the speedo gears and part #'s?

It is not a straight swap, you will need a 3.xx carrier.
