Want to get an Edelbrock STB for my TBI car....eventually however, I will be switching to TPI..will I beable to use the TBI brace afterwards....or will I have to buy the TPI version?

I plan this swap as well. Without modification it won't fit. I will modify mine to clear the intake plenum.

I'm not sure on a TPI STB not fitting a TBI equipped car. Never looked into it. In my case I've already invested a bit of change having a welder modify the stock 3-point Edelbrock TBI STB to a 4-point (ties into the radiator mounting location). So I am reluctant to throw it away. I plan to modify it to clear the plenum. Hopefully that is the only interferance point. I recommend getting the TBI STB now, then selling it and getting a TPI one. Whichever scenario works out to be cheaper for you. Check with www.carpartsonsale.com. I got mine there and they even threw in a free Camaro T-shirt.
