91 Z28 Conv Sway Bar Bushings

Could somone please tell me what parts (bar diameter sizes) I will need to purchase to replace all of the sway bar bushings on my car? Everything underneath should be stock (as far as the sway bars go). I checked oreilly's site, and according to them, I would need a couple of different diameter kits to accomplish this (two different sizes for the front) is this right?

Thanks.

Diameter is all the same, its the length that varies from front to rear.

Longer ones in the front, shorter in the rear.

What do you mean by the length of the bushing? And from what I hear, the diameter of the sway bar varies between the front and the rear.

Okay, I see what you're saying, but what is the diameter of the stock sway bars on the 91? I need to know what bushings to purchase.

Wow, I misread what you meant. I was talking about the end-links lol.

Yes, the front and rear swaybars are different diameters. Take an adjustable wrench and clamp it on it in a flat spot and measure the opening, and thats the size you need.

Your best bet is to measure them. The Z28 could be had with the FE2 suspension or F41, so there isn't a one size fits all answer.

Okay, will do. I was just hoping to be able to order them without having to go out to the car first. It's sitting at a buddy's shop a couple of towns over...

One quick ?? The measurement of the bushings is based strictly on the diameter of the sway bar where the bushings are placed, correct?

Correct.

But you can get away with taking the measurement in the middle, if need-be.
