Anyone have an opinion on my front tire camber problem?

Hey all. Crashed my car into a curb a while back, and paid to have the frame bent back.

Well, i noticed the camber was very positive on the front passenger tire, so i took it to a shop, and they just set the camber as far negative as they could. It is still bent inward at the bottom of the tire.

I was told by the mechanic that i would need an entire new front suspention, i.e. idler arm, pitman arm, centerlink, tie rods, and steering knuckle.

This mechanic also ripped me off with repairs, and i was told by another shop in the area that they were big ripp-off artists. Does anyone else have any idea why i would need to replace all of that? wouldn't it just be the steering knuckle? I have no clue myself, even went under the car to look, compaired sides, looked fine to me. but then im not a mechanic either of course.

Any opinions would be great!

Hopefully they pulled the frame right. Look at the lower control arm and see if you can tell if its bent. Steering parts have nothing to do with the camber unless its bent so bad the tires won't align. For posotive camber look for a bent control arm or spindle.

The frame shop didn't correct/fix the front end? I would be upset. A good frame shop will be able to straighten the unibody and fix the front end problem--they can tell what is bent when it's hooked up to the equipment. Could be the spindle, front subframe, strut, etc... The steering stuff(idler arm and such) has no effect on camber. Spindles don't usually wear out--junkyard time.
