Lowering and tires choices??

I'm looking at getting Belltech 2" drop spindles up front and 1-1/2" drop springs for the rear of my 92' T/A.
Also have on order some 17x9 wheels.
Any suggestions for tire sizes?
I was thinking about 255/40-17 front, and 275-40/17 for the rear. Or would a 255/45-17 up front be a better choice since the 255/40's have a lower overall dia and might give a lower front drop then I want?
Any comments would be appreciated.

I'm not sure I would want to use stock springs. I used Eibachs pro-kit,It's not as low as I'd like, but a safe compromise for street driving on Virginia's beat up roads. the eibach front springs are so much more tighter than the stock ones. I was going to use drop-spindals,but I couldn't find a front/rear aftermarket spring combo that would work.

The rear drop springs are from Belltech, so would match with their drop spindles up front. Now I'm still looking into what to do as far as the front springs, maybe a call to Belltech might shed some light.

If u want some bulge from the tire to the rim I would go with 275
all the way around. I have 17 x 9.5 with 275's and there is
almost no bulge.

As for the spindles, I have the bell tech system as well. I'm no
longer happy with the stock WS6 springs either. I would
suggest that u replace those while u are at it. The spindle gives
u a direct 2" drop up front so I don't recomened any kind of
lowering springs for the front (I am running into a tie rod sleeve
problem) and the Bell Tech rear springs gave about 1" drop but
they seem to be a little soft.
