My 89 RS feels like it has something loose in the rearend. When I hit a bump in a turn it skips around in the rear like something is loose? Does anyone have any suspension sugestions for upgrades?

 

Is the panhard bar installed? How are it's bushings' condition? That's the piece that positively locates the car laterally over the rear end. If that thing is gone or the bushings shot to hell it's gonna sway around.

 

Did u have a new rear end installed?

Mine "skips" sideways (always to the right) whenever I go over a small sharp bump under power (like passing and hitting new pavement).

Under cornering its solid.

Odd.
