Check it out. I was parallel parking, so when I pushed down on the brake to go into reverse, the brake pedal was hard as hell. And after that, it just kept being hard to push down on. Now, everytime i Push the pedal, I hear a swish noise coming from the pedal.
What the hell is wrong with my brakes?
My TA has 4 wheel disk.

Check your power brake booster, hell I don't know never heard of that problem before. Make sure everything is hooked up there.

sounds like ur loosing vacum at the brake booster. theres a couple ways to check ur brake booster,

1: start ur engine for a minute or two, then turn it off. Slowly press the brake pedal several times. IF the pedal travels down farther the first time but gradually rises after the second or third time. the booster is OK

2: Hold the brake pedal down while the engine is running, then stop the engine with the pedal pressed. If there is no change in the pedal distance, (if it doesn't move) for about 30 seconds, then the booster is OK

3: Hit the pedal a few times with the engine off. Untill all the vacume is gone, it should get harder each time, until its hard to press, then put ur foot on the pedal and press. then keep ur foot on it, and start the engine, the pedal should then travel down.

if any of those don't work then there might be a problem with ur booster, also check all ur hoses going to the brake booster. sometimes thought when ur car is idling low and u just put it in gear, and hit the brake, especialy with bad vacume, the situation u described might happen, i had a car once that i could stall jsut buy hitting the brakes repeatedly because it would loose all vacume in the engine. and i dont' know how to spell vacum correctly, well it doesn't look correct. well i hope everything i told u (is accurate) and can help ya.

Definitely the brake booster. It's about 9" in diameter, right behind the master cylinder. It's held on by 4 nuts under the dash behind the brake and clutch pedals.

In reply to your brakes. Check your brake booster. When you hit the brakes the sound your hearing is your vacuum coming from the booster caused by a broken sell. The only fix is to replace it.
