the brackets on the frame rails that the front sway bar bushings bolt to... what are they called???
the one on the drivers side is BROKE, it looks like a eazy repair i just dont know what the part would be called to try and order one. any help please.

at the end of my finger is were this mount is broken from the frame.
will a wounder bar replace this??

 

Hammer and a welder is all you need bud lol. But the wonder bar will not replace the mount

 

Right: that's not a "replaceable" part.

You have a version of the steering box crack that comes standard on these cars when they get old. SUPER common unfortunately. Standard fix is to weld a little reinforcement plate in behind it, inside the boxed sheet metal. Doesn't take much.

The "wonder bar" will help stiffen that area so it doesn't happen again, but won't fix the existing crack.

 

Sorry guys, its not the frame thats cracked (belive it or not) its just this bracket (or mount) that bolts to the frame, that the sway bar bushings mount to.
I just got the car a few weeks ago and didnt see it before i bought it. i would weld it but pieces are missing. looks like the kid i bought it from hit a bid @ss pot hole or something

 

I still need help on this subject.... i belive this mount is call a sway bar mount support (maybe). Can anyone tell me for sure.

 

Check junkyard. For replacement part. And swap it out
