Any advantage of 4th gen springs over 3rd gen Z28 springs?

I picked up a spare 4th gen rear axle and purchased some zr1s originally for my 4th gen but think Im going to use them on the 91. I have the original Z28 springs from my 4th gen I saved when I lowered the car. Just wondering if there is any benefit of these over the stock thirdgen Z28 rear springs. They look a little thicker but could be my imagination as well.

they may not be as worn out as your stock ones probably are. other than that, they're probably just about the same thing, if not the exact same.
