Re: steering wheel squeeks

sounds like lower ball joint failing, to check that you pick the car up by the lower control arm on the spring pocket and try to lift the wheel or pitch it in at the top

Re: steering wheel squeeks

if you havent done wheel bearings, i would looking ito it further. Pull a wheel and take the cup of the end of the rotor/hub. Grab and pull/push on the rotor and see of there is movement, you can even pull the cotter pin out of the castle nut and see if there is slack in there, which would indicate worn wheel bearings/races.

You have done all this work to the car an not upgraded brakes?

you just said in post #3 you didn't replace the wheel bearings, and they dont come with Spohns kit so....

and as for the front end kit, even though its new doesnt mean there is nto problem with it. Check the tie rod ends and balljoints and see if any are loose, they may not have been torqed properly and worked loose a little. See if the castle nuts most when you remove the cotter pins.

That kit doesn't come with wheel bearings. My mistake.. But I haven't replaced those yet... Could those be my problem.. Like I said I can wiggle the wheel and hear that noise comming from the front passenger wheel.... Its like a creakin squeaking popping noise..

yes it could be the problem, or, since it just started after you installed the front end kit, go around and check all the castle nuts and make sure the balljoints and tie rods havent worked loose in the tapers.

you agressive alignment can put stress on the bearings differently, and if they are old and worn out, you will notice changes.

Even if they are not totally shot, i would highly recommend changing the bearings, and the entire rotor/hub at the same time if thats old too.

Re: steering wheel squeeks

yea im going to check all the steering bolts and make sure they are torqued to spec.... i would be surprised if those ball joints or any part of the steering linkages are already damaged considering this is a premiuim kit from spohn... not to mention only being 2 months old... i will change my wheel bearings because they are stock.. hopefully between not torqued bolts and wheel bearings will solve my problem...

Re: steering wheel squeeks

well i checked all the steering linkages and they are all tight and greased..... they got to be brakes or wheel bearing... i know my front brake pads are low... i dont know if they are the reason... but everything thing under there is new except for brake parts and wheel bearings...
