wheel adapter balancing problem

wheel adapter balancing problem

I had a shake at around 110K with my 17"s and wheel adapters and now that im back to stock for the winter, no shimmy?

anybody,
ideas?

If those wheels, tires, and adapters worked for a little while then the adapters are not the problem. They won't just all of a sudden go out of balance. You may have lost a weight off of one of the wheels to throw it out or it could be a broken belt in a tire. I would take them to a tire shop and have them rebalanced and checked out. Also bad struts or bearings will cause a shake.
