Moog 5665 question

Ok so I have some air shocks on now and I am wanting to get some moog 5665 springs...If I replaced the springs, does that mean I would get additional lift from the springs?
(In simpler terms...Will the springs reduce the travel in my air shocks?)

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Moog 5665 question

Generally, yes. But the only way to keep the air shocks from breaking your car, is to take them off and put REAL ones on it.

You must not have had the air shocks for very long; only a couple hundred miles? Or maybe they aren't working? (leaky air lines?) Otherwise you'd be asking some different questions.

You don't need airshocks with the 5665s, they will raise the rear 3inches over saggy stock springs and plants that rear on hard launches never hitting the bumpstops However it will be one stiff *** ride.

If you put brand new rear springs on with brand new air shocks you will hate it. It will 'bottom up' more then it with bottom out, Did this to a customers car per his instructions and he said it rode awful, it was insanely stiff and the rear suspension could hardly cycle an inch.

I never said you were wrong.
I just added to what you had to say, and agreed with you at that.
