The first thing you should do is forget that BBC idea. Thirdgens are nose heavy enough, without that thing adding more weight. Put an LS or a 3.8 Turbo motor in it instead, then talk about handling.

All cars are designed differently. If you want to run like a corvette, buy a corvette. If you need to change everything to make it handle like another type of car then you won't have the same car. When you open the hood of a corvette, the first thing you see is what looks like a tube chassis race car. Hard to make a third gen feel and handle like that without spending a lot of money.

There are always performance upgrades for a third gen that are much better than stock but it takes a lot to make it better than an already good setup car like a corvette.

you dont have to buy a new Corvette for an LS motor, you can pick up LS1s, LS2s, LS3s, even LS7s at junkyards/craigslist etc.
