Moog's own specs say the 5662s are 748 pounds per inch. Wire diameter is 0.750", and the intended static load is 1690#. The 5664s have a 0.765" wire dia., a 707 PPI rate and an 1863# ISL. http://www.moog-suspension-parts.com...il_Springs.asp

so you cut 1 and half coils on a moog 5662 spring and it gave you 3 inches.....cool!
im either going to do that or modify my lca's....here's a thread i started...im still wondering if it would work...i would also trim my upper spring pocket openings and flatten my lca humps to gain more travel. i want to be 2 inches off the ground and relocate my exhaust up or modify the exhaust to gain more clearance. i cant drive my bird this high too much longer...haha

I did the 5662's last year with a full steering rebuild, new bushings and ball joins and mine has maybe settled an inch, i got my air shocks pumped just so it doesn't look stupid high in the front and nice and settled in the back. that and I live in upstate ny on back rds so a little bit of lift works perfectly, but i wish the stupid things would settle.

i didn't cut any coils yet...i may in the future. if i had to guess, i would say I have like 3 inches of clearance wheel to fender lip. I then went ahead and pumped up my rear shocks to match so that there was still a downward rake and it didn't look like I was trying to take off as I drove down the road. I will see if I can get home from work in time to get some day time pics.

ughh those are dope..remind of the enkei 92's 
the 5662's are 749 spring rate..mine are probably at 800+ now..i clock my bumpstops daily so im gonna be trimming them soon

yea i had to cut my bumpstops already i cut a inch off noticed car was abit smoother on bumpy roads but still clock the bump stops here and there but not as much lol thanks for the pics for reference

Be sure to taper the bump stops similar to the original pointed shape, otherwise they will hit harshly & can cause a sudden understeer (front bump stops), or oversteer (rear bump stops) while in a turn.
