hey everyone im trying to get some koni yellows and i was wondering where would be the cheapest place to find koni yellows..... i want to replace my kyb gr2 and gas adjust shocks....

 

I'm not familiar with the sponsors on this site but stranoparts.com is a sponsor on ls1tech.com and they sell koni's for 3rd and 4th gens

 

Looks like a set of Koni sports from The Tirerack would be $792 ($272 ea for front, $124/ea rear ...the rears had been $100 for awhile). Shox.com is $788 for a set (individual pricing not available online). All this before shipping.

Man they want a rediculous amount of money for those shocks and struts...I heard its worth it but man 125.00 a piece is more than enough you'd think!

 

gotta pay to play. if thousands more people bought them, the price would go down....

The junkyard?! I would be very suprised to find a decent set of these parts there. I bought my Koni reds from Summit Racing.

 

I just got mine from www.assaultech.com (some small 2 man company I found while searching for the exact same thing) and I got the struts for $240 each shipped. From the research I did and the post I made here, Koni will do a promotion about once a year for 20% off and that brings them down to $218 at www.tirerack.com.

I did not check the price on the shocks, I didn't have the money to get those right now.

 

lol its possible. Someone puts koni yellows on a car. they sell the car. the person wrecks it. junkyard. I saw some bilsteins on a car the other day at the junkyard

 

I saw some koni reds at the junkyard on a firebird, didn't know they worth anything, I just saw they were aftermarket. Too bad I didn't get them

 

yea that would have been a sweet find.... im just goint to have to wait till income tax time to get the tires and konis.... i want to get them all at once....

 

Any update on this? I just priced assultech at $722 for all 4 and tirerack.com at $816. Love to find some where the 1st number is a 6.

 

i have been looking.... with my income taxes for early next year i cant decide if i want to buy a vig 2800 stall or koni yellows all around with it.....

 

I've been looking myself. Shox.com has been going up like crazy. Used to be 688, then 788, now 814. Summit will be around 8 something, Spohn will be around 8 something unless you catch him on a sale.

I've resigned myself (for the time being) to possibly just getting the rears at one time, and the fronts at another. It will cost more but I will get them. I know that you're supposed to get all 4 at the same time, but since I'm still in the rebuilding shell stage, I can get away with that method. I don't know what the other site I checked was but it was around 812 or so.

 

im sure they will have a sale... the holidays are coming and everyone usually has stuff on sale...

 

Any update on pricey getting mine next week
