gabriel high jackers shock/strut

Does anybody have these on their third gen? or another brand similar to these. If so any pictures to see how it will look with a raised rear end stance?

Re: gabriel high jackers shock/strut

oh, people here have them, they are a bad idea. the sir shock puts the weight of the car on the stock upper shock mount, which is really not designed for that continuous loading, and it will eventually fail.

if you want to raise the back of the car, there are better (if its ever better) ways of doing this.

Maybe, less destructive, is about all; it's a bad thing to do no matter how it's done.

It's not the 60s anymore.

Re: gabriel high jackers shock/strut

If it's just sagging some, just change out the springs. They're cheeeeeeeeeeper BY FAR than air shocks. Use Moog 5665 if you prefer constant-rate or CC635 for variable-rate.

The suspension geometry of these cars does not take kindly to being disturbed too far.

A pair of fourthgen spring isolators will also jack the rear up an inch of so.
