Drum to disk

So i want to swap out my 2:73 drum rear for a 3:42 disk rear. I was wondering what all would I have to swap with the rear end? Thanks

Re: Drum to disk

the rear will bolt in, but to get things to work right you'll have to swap in a disk MC and combo valve (rear disks require more fluid flow and line pressure) and depending on the year/model (pontiac and chevy changed at different times), you'll need to swap the speedo gear/breakout box to get the speedometer to read right.
