Are you using a BMR K member, BMR lower A-arms and coil over conversion kits
Are you using a BMR K member, BMR lower A-arms and coil over conversion kits
I have a 87 Camaro that I am building for a race car. I have installed a BMR K-member, BMR Lower control arms, BMR coil over conversion kits. Stock Spindles.
The problem is, There is not enough adjustment in the camber adjustment slots to properly adjust the camber.
These cars are enough alike that I just can't imagine someone else not running into this problem before.
Repeated attempts to get help from BMR go unanswered.

I've never actually looked to check for slots, but assuming ours are like most modified macpherson strut suspensions, then our strut towers aren't slotted for adjustment, the alignment for camber is done where the strut bolts to the spindle, unless you get camber adjustment plates, you really aren't going to get much camber out of it, regardless of your suspension components being factory or aftermarket.

The adjustments you mention, where the strut attaches to the spindle are to adjust caster I think. I don't see much camber adjustment to be had there.

Im not familiar with how BMR mounts the spring, but it though it was to the underside of the tower with a different plate? I dont see how you could adjust much with that setup, and FWIW, spohns setup also doesn't allow much adjustment. How much camber do you have, and what are you trying to achieve?
The coilover setups for the front and generally more of a drag setup to reduce height.

Hmm, didn't know that, but to be fair I'm learning this stuff on new cars :P
Surprised you went with coilovers on the front btw, generally advised against, mostly cause of the additional weight that has to move when you turn.

This is what I have. Notice the slots. Those plates go under the OEM plate that has slots. The slots on my car are positioned cross wise of the car.
Now I wonder if I have something installed wrong???

An easy solution is to get some camber bolts for the strut to spindle mount. They generally can give you an additional 3* or so of camber adjustment.
