Ok ...gave M & K body shop the $230 to buy your SFC ...hope there as good as everyone says ....this would be my first purchase from UMI ....

Has anyone installed the k-member yet? Just curious if anyone has done some road testing with it. And is the regular (non road-race) version stronger than the stock k-member?

The body shop (M&K of toledo ohio) that I have my iroc at... Ordered the SFC from you...and from what the shop tells me is ...that you said 6-7 days to get them...the body shop called you back on the 9th day..To tell you that they have not arrived yet..The shop plans on calling you back on monday..to find out when there getting there....but can I get a tracking number ..or can you tell me when they will get there??

Body shop said they have ordered under there name ...( M & K ) of Toledo Ohio .....when they called you ..you guys said it shipped out ...I start work at 430pm so I stopped by the shop on my way to work around 230..to take pics of the iroc ...that's when they said this ...so Idk if they came in after I left ....

Oh, if it left our building I'll be able to get you a tracking number.
The body shop should have a tracking number automatically emailed from us to them.

Our k-member is designed to withstand abuse from daily driving, corner carving and drag racing. The twin tube design below the oil pan is quite robust as opposed to some other companies designs. Our RR version, debuting next week, has some additional bracing built in for that little extra security.

It's next week now. Got any pix or info? I need to get some weight off the front of my IROC and this would be a decent way to do it. My car WILL see road course abuse with big slicks. I hesitate to deviate from the stock stuff becasue it really can't fail, but I'd like to get rid of the weight. Can you talk about any testing you have done on the regular or the RR version to validate it's strength over time?

We have a few RR k-members out there but the product is so new we're still gathering test data.
The standard k's already have a ton of hard miles on them with no ill effects. Our test IROC and test Houser Camaro (383, giant Nitto's, 4.11's) are performing well.





Of course we'll address any problems as they arise but we're pretty confident in our twin tube lower design.
We have a few RR k-members out there but the product is so new we're still gathering test data.

Very nice. I see that it's re-inforced in the following areas:
1) front part of side frame to front section of upper spring mount
2) rear part of side frame to engine mount pad/rear section of upper spring mount
It would be nice if you guys tested out a camaro that does high lateral G's so we could see how it holds up to that.
