My Front Suspension RestoMod - Opinions?

Looking more to see if I missed anything. Ive been up trying to get this part of the build mapped out as more of these parts will need to be purchased ASAP. Also is the pitman arm just a copy of the idler arm so I need to order two?

Everything is getting torn out and replaced with new. Everything that is "upgradeable" I want to upgrade. This is for a convertible. I was going to go with UMI on the k member and all, but I dont want to put the AC compressor up top (which adds another $150 to the cost as well). Anywhere else I can improve? Would like to do it right the first time.

The pitman, which is different than the idler arm, is a non-wear piece, so unless it's been somehow damaged, you won't need to replace it. In fact finding a new one may be impossible.

You really want to do these? I'd think these are more for race-only cars.

Personal preference, but you could replace those parts with a Baer bumpsteer kit. I've been using it for about ten years and it made my steering a lot better after lowering the car.

That's EXACTLY the kind of suggestions I'm looking for. Thanks for that. Added to my Excel file and will start researching that a bit more.

Here's a link to get you started.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ba...w/make/pontiac

Shop around to see if you can find a better deal. Back when I bought mine, Summit didn't even them them yet. IIRC, I got mine from either ThunderRacing or Scoggin-Dickey.

There is zero mention of upgraded brakes and what wheels and tires you are running...
