Anyone swap sway bars in from a WS6 car? Any noticable improvements?

Re: WS6 Sway Bar Swap

Swapped WS6 bars (36/24) from my stock (30/18) on my '91 Firebird. This was in addition to a Spohn wonderbar and Founders panhardbar. I noticed a more stable, firmer ride. Stays planted in the curves, goes over speed bumps more evenly, doesn't squat on takeoffs, doesn't feel as loose in general. Also swapped from a stock steel to an LS1 aluminum driveshaft. Have a 2 TLTL steering box that I haven't put in yet.

Re: WS6 Sway Bar Swap

In my opinion, compared to previous ride, ...less vibrations, improved gas mileage, less rpms at cruising speed, quicker acceleration. It accelerates to cruising speed much quicker, at cruising don't have to shout to talk to each other or raise the radio volume much. RPMs are 300-500 less per tach than previously at cruising. Gas mileage improved 2-3 mpg in the city and up to 5 mpg on the highway. Sometimes my lead foot doesn't notice when I go from 80 mph to 90 mph.

I won't even begin to tell you I understand it. It's just what I've observed. Good info link below.

Re: WS6 Sway Bar Swap

I bought a new inland empire 3" aluminum driveshaft. Very good quality and reduces vibrations alot.
