LSX Swap with Tubular K member, Header clearance?
I'm building a lsx camaro and am looking into tubular K members. Some companies say that you gain extra header clearance with their K members. If I get a tubular K member, will this allow me to run 4th gen long tubes? Possibly GTO longtubes?
4th gen long tubes go from $200-$500. I don't want to dish out $900 simply because hawks wants almost a 200% markup due to demand.
Also will Hawks longtubes work with Tubular K-members?

Yes hawks longtubes work with tubular k members. No, even with a tubular k member, 4th gen longtubes will not work because they hit the suframe under the car.

check this thread out. i found it useful. i'm going with the ones in post 100. if they flake out in a few years i'll buy the SSW/hawks. but for now these cheap ones will free up some money to help buy the other parts i need for my swap.
