1991 Z28 Front Sway Bar Bushing Size...

OK..So I've searched, and read the limited number of front sway bar bushing sizes threads, and still have questions after researching as much as possible..Now I'm wondering..What size do I have?..I took an open end wrench to my front bar,but only had up to 1 1/2",and it still didnt go around it....but it was only like an 1/8th away..So Heres my dilemma...do I have 37mm bushings...1 7/16" bushings...or 38mm bushings..or 1 5/16 bushings...too close to call.....not sure what else to do, but definitely dont wanna remove old ones, til I have new ones ready to go....thanks for reading!...

Well there's no 37 or 38mm sway bars that came on ANY of these cars, so that settles that.

It came w either 34mm solid or 36mm hollow. Hollow ones have drain holes, solid don't. Not hard to figure out which one it is, from there.

Easiest way will be just to check with a pair of calipers. You said 1 1/2" wrench wouldn't go over the bar, so...not sure as that would make it larger than anything I have seen on them.

So..I did move forward..I ordered the Spohn 36mm bracket and greasable bushings....p/n..poly-36-8292f.....Installed and ready to go...easy install..my only concern is that the spohns brackets dont have a "tail" that locks into place on the frame like stock do....time will tell if i did the right thing with the spohn.....
