Weight jacks or coil overs???
What would be better for street/autocross/track day car? As it sits my car is sitting on brand new kyb agx struts and shocks, and stock springs. I have looked at lowering springs but would like to keep ride height close to stock maybe a little lower. My main question is what would be better for what I am looking for out of the car? I know the weight jacks come with springs and my kyb's will do the job. (I wanted koni yellows but couldn't afford them at the time of purchase)
I am not looking to really race the car just enjoy it and have it handle really well. I have a few local tracks that have HPDE all the time so what would be best?

Re: Weight jacks or coil overs???
Pretty sure weight jacks is going to be the answer due to the stress Coil Overs place on the strut towers.

Coilovers don't work well on these car in the stock configuration. Weight jacks are better suited /thread

Cool, thanks guys! I have a lot of money into the car already. I am not about to spend Detroit speed money on it. Holy smokes their suspension setups start at 2600. Im sure they work well but wow.

Re: Weight jacks or coil overs???
What class do you autocross in? Many classes don't allow either, but I'd also vote for weight jackers. Coil-overs eat up space that you can put more tire into at the front. That, plus weight jackers use 'standard' springs that are relatively cheap.
In the past, we've used weight jackers with 5" dia springs, but have since moved to the Wolf Racing weight jacker that uses coil-over springs in the factory spring perch. I like them, but this is on a dedicated autocross car, and you have to be careful jacking the rear end up, or the springs will fall out.
