I know someone selling LCAs from a 97. I can bolt these right onto my 85?

Yes they will bolt straight in. Why are you changing them? Are you in dire need of some new ones? The reason i am asking is that you would be better off picking up a set of after market LCA's. They make a world of difference with traction.

Mine have 240K+ miles on them with the original bushings and ball joints. Which ones do you recommend?

LCA's don't have ball joints. And if you're buying them you should buy aftermarket. By the time you buy all four bushings and have them installed you're spending more cash and seeing very little benefit. If you do the bushings yourself.. it's a pain in the A$$. You'd rather spend the money on new arms.

If they're given to you... it's whatever

LCA's are out back... do you mean A-arms?

If so, they will not fit at all. Different suspension out front entirely. Just go get an ES kit and pull off the arms. You might want to go ahead and get springs/struts now if you're planning on doing them. The bushings will have to be pressed in. Save yourself the $$ on the ball joints and get the installer from autozone. All you'll need are the tubes as the C-clamp is'nt big enough. they will need to be pressed in. (if you have acess to a press/big vice, that is)
