PA Racing K-member, thinking of going back to stock K-member, where to find one...
I have had a PA racing K-member for a long time. Drove the car for 5K miles with it. Now I building a ground up build that will have a new LS3/T-56. I want to put 100K miles in the car this time around, as in commute to work 3 seasons a year.
That got me to thinking about strength of the K-member on the street.
Detroit Speed built a car recently and they used a stock k-member and their A-arms. I want to follow their lead.
What is the best way to get a stock k-member? Of course shipping would be a nightmare. Would need to find one fairly locally.

I would ship you mine plus cash in exchange for yours! Haha.
Probably getting a local one is the best bet. If you are interested in mine though let me know. I can ship it pretty reasonably through my work.

Hmmm.... I still need to think of a cost for mine with the PA racing A-arms.
Not gonna be a clean trade, but not as bad as you think if you in fact can get my your for not too much.
New the K-member is $400
A-arms are $339
Total of $739. I would let it all go for around $450 + shipping. At a local junkyard, I would imaging a stock k-member being $50 or so.
So I would do something like a clean trade + $400. At least off the cuff numbers. I would need to look closer into what it would cost to ship everything.
If that seems like something you would be interested in, PM me and we can talk more.

Got to be able to find one locally, these things are pretty easy to find.

There is a Milford, Mi. as well... haha.
I would be interested but I didn't realize you had the aftermarket A-Arms. Good luck with it! I'm sure you can sell it locally.

For a stock K-member, it is in nice shape....
$20. I don't need the A-arms. I will be getting UMI stuff.
Still kind of on the fence about the whole "swap to stock" thing.
Looking at maybe just getting the UMI autocross K-member and grab their A-arms at the same time...
