Tie Rod question
Im in the middle of rebuilding my front end. I have a few questions that Im hoping someone on here can answer. If not Ill have to call spohn or somone.... I was saw that UMI, Spohn both make bump steer kit which changes the outer Tie rods to Rod ended kit that gets rid of the Tie rod sleeves. Does anyone on here know if anyone makes a Rod ended inner tie rods. I see Baer makes rod ended tie rods but are they for inner or outer tie rods. Lastly does anyone know of cheaper place than Baer to purchase them, they want 170 for these little pieces which seems a little expensive. Any help would help would be appreciated.

Re: Tie Rod question
Do you need bumpsteer adjustment? Did you measure an unacceptable amount of change? Chances are no.
The taper is the same, and the studs are available from most suspension shops, circle track supply's ect.

Re: Tie Rod question
Allstar performance Tie Rod studs. You need the GM 10* taper. Stud threads are 5/8" so you are good using QA1 HMR10HT and HML10HT rod ends that are very strong with Coleman hex red anodized tie rod sleeves bored to 5/8"-16 threads
You need two inner tie rod studs- https://www.allstarperformance.com/p....htm?prod=1819
And two outer bumpsteer tie rod studs- https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Adjus...RoCZf4QAvD_BwE
Don;t go cheap on rod ends. Those ones I listed will last you where others are questionable in daily use.
PS- as note on the Trailblazer, GM sucks at steering geometry. I have a 2001 S10 I am custom fabricating my own centerlink and tie rods addressing this same issue. Tie rods are way too long and induce toe out on suspension travel.

Re: Tie Rod question
Thanks for the information. I would love to just order and be done with it but my bank account doesnt agree with that course of action. I think i figured out all the pieces that need to be ordered. I think I can even piece together what is needed for my truck. Just need to figure out the right length of everything.
