Lower front wheel gap

I'm looking to drop the front end of my ride to close some wheel gap. The front shocks springs are original, the rear were changed by the original owner with air shocks. My question is, do I change our the springs just in the front or all the way around? What springs would drop my ride about an inch to 1.5 inches?

Re: Lower front wheel gap

I would replace the stock ball joints with a pair of extended ball joints. There is a proforged ball joint that provides a 1/2" drop, Howe is 3/4" and Summit brand is 1.0" drop. The extended ball joints would lower the car while not hurting the front roll center. That will let you keep your springs and replace the old front ball joints. You'd want to look into a new set of raised strut mounts to be safe though, that would allow you to keep the same shocks but any air shock should probably be replaced anyway.
