was thinking about sub frame connectors...
hey yall, i have a set of subframe connectors (idk what brand since its been 10+ years since i installed them) which are bolted and welded in. i was thinking the other day, would you see a noticeable increase in rigidity if you welded it to the floor panels too? car is not a daily driver, and i'm not intending on doing this, but was sorta wondering if that would help or hurt the car.

Thinking about a set for my '89 IROC Z Vert, even though I am restoring the car, for resale. I always put out a quality product.

If your looking for a set for the covertable then check out TDS versions. I actually have those and a set of perimeter BMR on my firebird

For an 89 IROC Vert, you figure these are better than Spohns? Why?

I think the metal is too thin to offer much improvement.Id be afraid to burn thru the thin sheet metal.
My global west perimeter SFC's are stitch welded to the rockers on my vert. This according to GW's instructions.I think this was more for rattling/noise though.

I though hawk and spohn sell both types. GW aren't meant for verts, so i had to tweak them a bit, but i prefer their tubular design to sq. tube.

I thought id seen them before, i dont care for how the tube reduces dia. on that one SFC. The GW pieces look much sturdier to me.

Looks like the Spohn's weld on to the OE GM Vert rocker reinforcement and the floor pan, above.
