Re: BMR Coilover Conversion?

i originally utilized the BMR coil over suspension in my 85 IROC LS conversion back in 2009. It was well made and seemed to work well. I ended up being worried about long term is the shock tower really capable of handling the load and have gone back to front springs utilizing UMI weight jack set up

Did you have any noise with the coilovers or the weight Jack's? I've looked at those as well. Do you drag race at all? I plan on taking my car to track and thats the reason for leaning toward the coilovers but it's a 95 percent street car.

Re: BMR Coilover Conversion?

I installed the BMR coilovers on the front with Lakewood struts. I was hoping it would lower it more as the pic below is at the lowest setting. I modified the lower spring perch to get it down some more. I have since raised the rear up so that it sits level now.

At the lowest setting as purchased:

Re: BMR Coilover Conversion?

Thanks!! I had intentions of doing a build thread but it didn't happen. I still need to finish the wiring for the wiper motor and install cruise control.
