steering shaft bearing

hi, i have been told i can get a kit to replace this bearing , but the price is ridiculous. does anybody know what it would be called ?? engine side of the firewall. non adjustable column. 1988 bird.

It's a steering shaft bushing/bearing kit
$45 from Hawks or eBay
factory one is a bushing and they wear out.
The kits are the Corvette bearing style.
It's easy to install
You might as well do the Astro shaft upgrade as well since replacing the shaft bearing gets you 1/2 way there

Ferther searches on eBay do show other being called Lower.

Steering shaft or column lower bushing.

The factory piece is a plastic bushing, they all have play.

The bearing that fits in there that is being sold as an upgrade is the one for a later model Chevy Astro Van, and they do cut down on play even compared to a good plastic bushing.
