Any more tunnel mounted torque arms?
I finally have the time and the money to move my project forward. The priority now is to finish with the suspension. I have the front lower control arms and the torque arm on the list. I've had my eyes on the tunnel mounted torque arms, similar to Steinjager and Alston, but they appear to be discontinued. I need to have it up that way to clear my headers. I'm running the Stainless Works longtubes with 2.5" collectors and y-pipe. Does anybody have any leads on anybody who still makes them? I prefer to have an adjustable one.

Thank you for the info, everybody. Qwktrip, that is an awesome thread to start from. I want to avoid welding a bar across the chassis. I imagine it will severely impact any disassembly in the future.
I like the Unbalanced Engineering design a lot. I found that ws6transam did the retrofit years ago. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/susp...decoupled.html The pictures are gone from this thread, but I found one on another forum by him. I'll send him a message to see if I can get some better insight.
The other combination I am thinking of is Hooker Blackheart crossmember paired with Founder's Performance torque arm. The big question I have is, does it clear my y-pipe? I'll need to do some more searching to find some installed images.

Re: Any more tunnel mounted torque arms?
I emailed unbalanced engineering about their torque arm. They only do a production run when there are 5 or more confirmed buyers. So, I either would have to wait or find a used piece of that's the route I go.

I'd join you if we can scare up three more. My suspension is done other than this.

Re: Any more tunnel mounted torque arms?
I finally made my decision. I'm going to go with the welded in version of the UE TA. From looking at the images, front piece is bolted through the tunnel to a plate on the other side. The plate is then welded to a roll bar/cage. I'll be able to work with that. Also, it appears to have better ground clearance than the bolt-in version.
